How does the Group Pay-As-You-Learn Payment Plan work?

Pay-As-You-Learn provides you with a great opportunity to make your course payments more budget friendly.

How does the Pay-As-You-Learn Group Payment Plan work? 

To qualify for a group payment plan option, you must be a member of a group with 3 or more unique learners on your group close date. You must purchase 3 or more of our Online Format ELEVATE courses (graduate-level continuing education courses) with university transcript credit.

You must select one of our participating payment plan-eligible university partners, American College of Education, Augustana University, and Roosevelt University, for your transcript partner. Fast Track, Hybrid Blended, and Flex credit courses are not eligible for a group payment plan. Paypal is not an available payment method for group registrations. 


How are grades released? 
  • Upon registration, holds will be placed on your grades.
  • Course grades will be released in alignment with Term grade release dates AND monthly payments received.  
  • Grade(s) will continue to be posted at each $475 payment interval reached until completion of all monthly payments. For example, a grade for your first completed course will be posted when your cumulative monthly payments meet or exceed $475. A grade for your second completed course will be posted when your cumulative payments meet or exceed $950. 

Can I pay my balance off earlier? 

If you are part of a payment plan, your grade will be held until enough payments are made to cover the cost of the course. But you have options!

You can also process additional scheduled payments in your Account by following the steps provided below. 

1. Click on your name in the upper right corner. 
2. Select My Orders

3. Click Make a Payment

4. Select the number of payments from the dropdown (payment amount in image is a sample and payments may differ based on purchase). 

5. Click Submit Your Payment

6. Enter Credit Card details and submit payment

Are there any fees or interest? 
There is a $35 payment plan processing fee, due upon registration. 

How long do I have to pay off the payment plan?
When selecting Pay As You Learn, your registration will consist of 12 monthly payments. The first payment will be processed on the date of registration and the next 11 payments will be processed on the same calendar date each month in the future.
