Tell me about Priority Grading

If you're in a hurry for a transcript, we may be able to help. Priority Grading is available as an optional add on in the shopping Cart. 

Our standard timeline for instructor feedback is up to 7 calendar days. With Priority Grading, instructor feedback is issued within 2 days of submission. Please note, Priority Grading does not waive, reduce, or otherwise modify the nine calendar day minimum enrollment requirement applicable to courses.

Priority Grading added after the initial course purchase is available for an additional fee of $59 per course. Priority Grading is not offered for the final week of each Term.

The fee applies separately to each course for which Priority Grading is requested. Please note, if a submission is returned with a request for resubmission, the 2 day window will restart upon resubmission.

When Priority Grading is purchased during checkout, submitted coursework will be evaluated within 48 hours of submission. When Priority Grading is purchased after the initial course purchase, submitted coursework will be evaluated within 48 hours of purchasing Priority Grading. (If the grading window includes a Teaching Channel company holiday, please add 24 hours to the grading timeline.)

Final grades and letters of completion will be available in alignment with the grade release terms. If purchasing Priority Grading prior to the grade release date for the term, you will be able to purchase an early completion memo once your instructor feedback has been completed. 

Spring Term:

  • Letters of Completion Available: January 2
  • Official Transcripts Available: as soon as mid-January

Summer Term:

  • Letters of Completion Available: May 16
  • Official Transcripts Available: as soon as the end of May
Fall Term: 
  • Letters of Completion Available: September 2
  • Official Transcripts Available: as soon as mid-September

Priority Grading Terms & Conditions: By purchasing Priority Grading, the student acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions, including the applicable fee, non-refundable payment policy, instructor feedback timeframe, and continued application of all course enrollment and academic requirements. 

All Priority Grading fees are non-refundable and not eligible for any promotions or discounts. Once payment has been made, the fee will not be refunded, regardless of course completion status, submission timing, grade outcome, or whether the student chooses to continue with the course. Priority Grading expedites the instructor feedback of submitted coursework only. It does not expedite, alter, or guarantee a particular grade, nor does it accelerate the availability or release of grades or transcripts. Grade and transcript availability remain subject to the applicable academic policies, payment plan policies and the scheduled grade release date for the learner's term of enrollment. Priority Grading does not waive, reduce, or otherwise modify the nine calendar day minimum enrollment requirement applicable to courses. All learners must satisfy the required enrollment period regardless of whether Priority Grading is purchased.
